Version 5.1 of the Cab Grid Pro taxi booking plugin for WordPress offers the option to have customers select their international dialling code when entering their phone number on the taxi booking form.
There are a number of cues used to pre-select the international dialling code.
- The customer’s connecting IP address will be geocoded to a country.
- The site TLD (top level domain – e.g. .uk or .us or .fr or .de) is used as an indicator if available.
- The County Bias field set next to the Google API address auto-complete key will also define which international dialling code is pre-selected in the booking form.
The international dialling code drop-down menu can be disabled by switching it to ‘off’ under Twilio setting in the OPTIONS tab of the Cab Grid Pro WordPress admin panel.
